(Reggae-style Bob Marley Music starts, Camera zooms to houses then we see Uniqua's house, Uniqua opens the door)

(She closes the door)

Uniqua: Avast me hearties! Hosts the main sails! ARRR!! Swap the deck! ARRR!! Weigh anchor! ARRRRRR!! Hello me hearties! I'm captain Uniqua the Pirate! You can tell I'm a pirate cause of my eye-patch, And cause I say ARRRRR!!

Uniqua: If you want to be a pirate, get up on your feet *

Arr! Arr! Arr!

A pirate, a pirate, a pirate says, "arr!" *

"Arr!"

(Austin comes by,)

Hey uniqua, are you a pirate?

That I am, austin! I'm captain uniqua, the patchy-eyed pirate.

I'm a pirate, too! I'm captain austin, with a hook for a hand!

Then you know what pirates say, of course.

Pablo: Exactly! I'll be captain pablo with a peg leg!

Tyrone: And I'll be captain tyrone with a wooden ear.

And take to the high seas!

Pablo: with the wind in our sails!

(A ship rises out of the grass below them; the backyard transforms into the high seas with their ship afloat.)

Tyrone: Hey, captain pablo, What if we run into other pirates?

Pablo: We'll make them walk the plank! Because we're the roughest, toughest pirates of all.

(Ahead of them is another ship with Uniqua and Austin on board.)

Nope. No other boats.

Pablo: arr, we're gonna catch those other scurvy pirates!

Tyrone: what do we do with them when we catch them?

Tyrone and pablo:

Arr... I think I hear pirates!

Tyrone: well, we're the boldest pirates on the sea,

And we're gonna take your treasure!

And we don't have any treasure!

Arr, well we're raiding you anyway!

(Gasps)

Tyrone and pablo: arr!

Tyrone: arr! We win!

And you know what that means.

Now you must walk the plank! Arr!

Then splash, into the water.

Hey, captain tyrone, that kinda sounds like fun.

Maybe we should walk the plank instead.

Now all we have to do to find the treasure

(Uniqua steps onto the tree and crosses.)

(Uniqua makes it across; now it's Tyrone's turn.)

Tyrone: it's my turn, I'm going now

Captain tyrone will show you all how

Gotta keep my balance, steady as I go...*

(Austin goes next.)

Austin: cause I don't wanna plop in the mud below *

I'm brave captain austin, not a scurvy dog *

And there's nothing as easy as falling off a log *

(Pablo is left.)

(Pablo steps onto the tree and begins to cross slowly and stumbles slightly due to his peg leg.)

Pablo: It's my turn, I'm going last *

But I have a peg leg so I can't go fast *

I'm captain pablo, And even though I hobble

Gonna keep my balance and try not to wobble *

I'm almost across, it's a long hard slog *

And there's nothing as easy as falling off a...*

(He begins to slip.)

Tyrone: look out!

Uniqua: careful!

Pablo: whoa!

Uniqua: steady!

Tyrone: don't worry, we'll get you!

Tyrone: gotcha!

That was easy.

Uniqua: now let's get going and find that x.

Austin: look! Up ahead!

There's something on the ground!

Uniqua: I hope it's the x!

Pablo: is it the x?

Tyrone: well, no.

(A letter T is written in the sand.)

Austin: that's disappointing.

Pablo: no one would ever bury treasure under a "t".

You're right. We need to find the x.

Let's keep looking.

Pablo: here's a "v".

I think we're getting closer.

So that means, the x should be right about...

Uniqua: x marks the spot where the treasure is buried!

Pablo: dig it up! There's a shovel!

Tyrone: well, that certainly is convenient.

(Tyrone starts digging.)

Uniqua: gonna keep on digging till I hit that treasure *

Hey, I hit something!

Tyrone: a treasure chest!

(They open the chest to find a majestic diamond gem.)

(Gasps) wow.

Austin: that's a big diamond!

Tyrone: it certainly is!

It's the biggest diamond Ever in the history of the world!

And it's all ours!

All: yay! Yeah! Arr!

Pablo: all right!

Uniqua: well, we did say that we would split up the treasure.

Arr, but we can't split up one big diamond.

Maybe we can all just share it.

All in favor of sharing it, say arr!

All: arr!

Now we're the richest pirates In all the seven seas.

All: arr!

Pablo: (wary) Yes... but, what if other pirates try to raid us, and take our treasure?

Austin: yeah!

Tyrone: that is what pirates do, after all.

Uniqua: hmm. I hadn't thought of that.

We need to hide it before other pirates come!

All: hmm...

I know what we should do... Bury it!

Austin: arr! Bury it!

Tyrone: but where?

Uniqua: right here!

Tyrone: right! We just have to put the dirt back in the hole.

Pablo: right!

Uniqua: all in favor of burying the diamond, say "arr!"

All: arr!

Pablo: oh yeah.

Pablo: yeah! No one would ever think of looking under a "y"!

(Pablo's stomach growls)

I'm not just a rich pirate, I'm a hungry rich pirate.

Pablo: arr!

(All giggle)

Tyrone: that was a very piratey adventure, don't you think?

Others: yeah, sure was.

All: we've got the whole wide world *

In our yard to explore
