This is the transcript of Riding the Range.

(Cut back to the campsite)

PABLO: (yawns) Sun's up!

TASHA: (yawns)

UNIQUA: Time to hit the trail. Let's saddle up and-- (notices something in alarm) (Cut to the empty log on the next line) Tarnation, the horses are gone!

TASHA: (worried) Oh no, where's princess?!

PABLO: (takes notice of more boot prints) Look! Tracks!

UNIQUA: Pointy toe cowboy boots! That bandit must've stolen our horses while we were sleeping!

TASHA: (notices that Tyrone has disappeared) Hey, where's cowboy Tyrone?

PABLO: (shocked) Maybe the bandit captured him too!

UNIQUA: (to her fellow cowpokes) Tarnation, amigos! Cowboy Tyrone saved us, so we've got to save him.

TASHA: And our horses!

PABLO: You're right, and even without a horse, I'm still the best tracker in the west! Let's follow those tracks!

(Camera fade out to Tyrone and Harvey arriving at the stateline of Texas along a western railroad)

TYRONE: Finally! The Texas stateline! Yee-haw, yippie-yi-o, Texas, here I am! Now all I need is a place to take a nap before the hoedown, (gets an idea) and I know just the place.

(The other horses were still following the apple trail left behind by Tyrone. Cut back to the others following the footprints)

PABLO: (notices the tracks were being dusted away) The tracks are fading amigos.

TASHA: That's because the bandit's on horseback, and we're walking. We need to go faster.

PABLO: (thinking of a faster way) But how?

UNIQUA: (sees something ahead on the railroad) Tarnation, (points) that's how! C'mon!

(Tasha and Pablo discovered that Uniqua had indeed found a faster transport, an old pushcart.)

TASHA: *Yee-haw, yee-haw, yippie-yippie-yi-yo, Texas here we come!*

PABLO: *Yee-haw, yippie-yi-yi-yo, Texas here we come!*

All: (as they started going along the rails)

(Tasha, Uniqua and Pablo ride off through the horizon. It is soon nighttime as Tyrone and Harvey arrived at the spot where the hoedown is to take place, right outside next to an old lodge.)

TYRONE: (notices the cabin down below) Old man Whistler's cabin. (remembers) He's in Californy, but he wouldn't mind if I took a nap here before the hoe-down.

(Tyrone begins heading downhill towards the cabin. Once at the bottom, he soons dismounts from Harvey and walks into the lodge for a brief rest. The other horses soon stop by an apple tree next to Harvey, just as Uniqua, Pablo and Tasha pulled in.)

TASHA: (sees the horses unharmed) Look! Our horses!

PABLO: (sees that Tyrone's horse was there as well) And cowboy Tyrone's horse too!

TASHA: (notices the lodge in worry) The bandit must have cowboy Tyrone captive inside that cabin.

UNIQUA: (to the others) Well, if he does, then we got to save him. Let's go!

(The three soon got off the cart and headed towards the front door of the lodge to confront the rustler.)

UNIQUA: (as they stopped by the front door) Here goes... (takes a deep breath then calls out to the bandit) BANDIT! (cut to Tyrone sleeping on a small bed inside) Bandit! We got you bandit!

(The sound of Uniqua's voice soon woke Tyrone up in alarm.)

TYRONE: (takes notice of the commotion outside) WHOA! They got the bandit cornered on the porch. (his expression turns into shock) What if he tries to get in here?! (gets off the bed) I better sneak out the back. (He hightails it out of the cabin through the back door.)

(Cut back to the front of the lodge)

TASHA: (fearlessly and sternly) COME OUT OF THERE BANDIT! AND DON'T TRY ANY FUNNY BUSINESS!

PABLO: (heroically) WE'VE GOT YOU SURROUNDED! (brief silence)

(As they waited for an answer, Tyrone comes out to the front porch and surprises them silently)

TYRONE: (signals to the others quietly) Howdy partners! (They yelp in surprise)

TASHA: (sees that Tyrone had escaped) Cowboy Tyrone!

PABLO: (relieved) You're okay!

UNIQUA: (smiles) You got away!

TYRONE: (to the others) Just by a hair it seems. Did you catch him partners? Did you catch the bandit?

UNIQUA: (sinisterly) We think we've got him trapped inside, but there's only one way to find out. (explains her plan) When I count to three, I'll open it, and we'll all bust in and catch him. Ready?

TYRONE, PABLO and TASHA: (silently) Ready!

UNIQUA: One, two, THREE! (opens the door where they seek the opportunity to arrest the rustler) GOTCHA BANDIT!

PABLO: (boldly) SURRENDER!

TASHA: (sternly) HANDS UP!

TYRONE: (sees that the room is empty) He's not here!

TASHA: (notices the back door is left open) Look, the back door's open!

UNIQUA: (as they sped out the back way) Quick, before he gets away! (sees that there's no one out back) Bandit?

TASHA: (questioningly) That's strange, where did he go?

UNIQUA: (surprised to notice that the bandit had made a break for it) He got away! TARNATION!

PABLO: He sure is crafty.

TYRONE: He certainly is.

PABLO: But the good thing is, we scared him off!

TASHA: And we saved our horses!

UNIQUA: Yeah! And we saved cowboy Tyrone too!

TYRONE: (smiles) Yes indeedy! (to his friends) Thanks partners! I'd say that calls for a celebration! (turns on some outdoor lights)

UNIQUA, PABLO, TASHA and TYRONE: (all, excitedly) HOE-DOWN! (all cheering in excitement) ALL RIGHT! OH YEAH! WOO-HOO! YEE-HAW! (Buffalo Girls and Cowboys playing) * Cowgirls, cowboys, won't you come out tonight, won't you come out tonight, won't you come out tonight, Cowgirls, cowboys, won't you come out tonight? And dance by the light of the moon? (close-up of moon then cut back to them freestyling)

PABLO:

All:

UNIQUA:

TYRONE:

of the moon! (dance break) *Cowgirls, cowboys, come out tonight, *

TYRONE: (holding some sort of lasso) YEE-HAW!

UNIQUA: (finds what she was looking for) Hey, that's my jumprope!

TYRONE: (surprised) This is yours? (gives Uniqua her rope back) I knew I'd find the owner if I brought it with me to Texas! (his belly agrees)

UNIQUA: (giggles in excitement)

TYRONE: I do declare, I'd know that sound anyhwere!

TASHA: Looks like someone's hungry.

PABLO: (to the others) Want to come my house for cookies?

TYRONE: Well, I’m all out of apples, so that’s great!

TYRONE, PABLO, UNIQUA and TASHA: (all excitedly) Snacktime! YAW-HOO!

TASHA: (smiles) YAW-HOO!

(They all giggle as the wild western landscape turned back into the backyard in the daytime)

TYRONE: GIDDYUP!

UNIQUA: (laughing) LET'S RIDE!

All: (giggling as they arrived in front of Pablo's house)

TYRONE: (to the others) That was an excellent cowboy adventure, don't you think?

TASHA: Definitely!

UNIQUA: Sure was!

PABLO: (smiles) You said it partner!

All:

PABLO and TASHA: See you later!

UNIQUA and TYRONE: See you next time! See you!

(They all went inside Pablo's house for some cookies)

TYRONE: (opens the door to the viewers) YAW-HOO! So long partners! (closes the door)
