Sherman is a recurring character in The Backyardigans.

Description

Sherman is a young Worman and a good friend of the Backyardigans. He resides in the heart of the jungle along with many other Wormans. Sherman can get scared easily due to his small size. Although he can only speak a fictional language called Worman-ese, Tyrone is able to understand him. Sherman has a fondness for popcorn.

Looks

Sherman is mostly yellow. He has several light orange spots with dark orange outlines. In "Attack of the 50 Foot Worman", Sherman temporarily turns pink and grows several times in size.

Appearances

Sherman has appeared in three episodes of The Backyardigans: "The Heart of the Jungle" and "Polka Palace Party" from season one, What's Bugging You? (as a cameo) from season three, and "Attack of the 50 Foot Worman" from season four.

Trivia

  • In the three episodes he appeared in, Tasha was absent in all of them.
  • He never appeared in season 2.
